The 17th season of the Calvia Quiz League got under way on Sunday 13th November 2010 and we are delighted that Webbs Removals on the Poligono Son Bugadellas, Santa Ponsa will again be sponsoring the League. And the Majorca Daily Bulletin will again continue with their coverage of the League. We are running with just four teams again this year, but even if it is half as much fun as last year then we are in for another great year. This year's teams are:: Zanzi's Bays (Son Caliu/Palma Nova), Arfur's (Magalluf), Flozzies (Santa Ponsa) and Aroma Bar (El Toro). There will be an extra round of matches this year with all teams playing each other five times with all four teams playing at the same venue each Sunday. Zanzi's Ba. home of the reigning champions, hosted the opening night on 13th November. On Sunday 19 February at Arfur's Bar there is a Doubles Competition in memory of Alison Sayer who tragically died on 19 February 2011. League m atches take place on Sunday nights starting at 9.00 pm (prompt!). The season runs to SUNDAY 18 March 2011, when the Finals Night will take place. There is a two week break over Christmas.
