The 15th season of the Calvia Quiz League will be getting under way on 15th November 2009 and we are delighted to announce that our new sponsors will be Webbs Removals on the Poligono Son Bigadellas, Santa Ponsa. The Majorca Daily Bulletin will also be covering the League for the first time. We extend sincerest thanks to both of them for their support. Matches take place on Sunday nights starting at 9.00 pm (prompt!). The season runs from early November until late March with a two week break over Christmas. Sadly the crisis has it the uiz League this year and we are down to just six teams, the lowest total in the 15 year history of the League. Bu this year's stalwarts are:
Pink Panther (now Roosters) won the title for the first time in 2009, thus ending The Crown's run of two successive titles. If you want to play any Sunday night while you are on holiday, just pop into any of those bars and you will be more than welcome to join their team.
